Un delegation to probe barrier reef damage fears and is not part of probe

Updated

The Federal Government has issued a warning to those who are planning to visit remote reefs in the Great Barrier Reef after three of the seven countries involved in the investigation concluded that the areas they intended to visit were damaged or destroyed.

The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) says the reef area has been severely affected by global warming.

It says the investigation into damage to the reef by the Queensland Department of Parks and Wildlife (DDWP), Queensland Health Services (QHSS), and the Queensland Government revealed a range of damage to the reef from fishing trawl예스카지노ers, sediment discharge from offshoapronxre oil wells, and land disturbance from the dredging of the reef.

The CSIRO says many of the reefs are close to areas where dredging, or mining operations are taking place, and that some reef areas have be바카라en damaged by human intervention in some of these areas.
